Remembrance Sunday, and along with cities, towns and villages throughout the UK, our village held an Act Of Remembrance at the village war memorial , observing a 2 minute silence at 11.00am. This is followed by the laying of wreaths in memory of all villagers who have died in all wars since the First World War. As always our village ceremony was a moving tribute, and was very well attended.
