We went with our grandchildren to see the pantomime Cinderella in this lovely traditional Edwardian theatre in Portsmouth. For both granddaughters it was the first live theatre, and they were entranced, especially the youngest, aged three. With all the traditional interaction with the audience (“Oh Yes It Is”, “Oh No It Isn’t”) she wasn’t just watching it – she was IN it. Totally and completely enraptured. Magic.
