The older part of our village, viewed from a wildlife area adjacent to the small river than runs through the village. The cottage in the foreground has a garden that runs down to the river, and which is flooded regularly in winter. The large building behind houses the offices for the granite quarry, and the adjacent white building is of particular significance. It is my local pub.
