The dogs enjoy a game of tug-of-war. When our older German Shepherd Dog, Lesia, finds a stick, Tia, our young rescue dog, always thinks that it is a present chosen especially for her, and tries to liberate it from Lesia. Generally Lesia is able to keep it from her by constantly turning away, as Tia whirls round and round in different directions trying to grab it – a case of the older dog knowing all the tricks leaving the younger one relying on an endless supply of energy. If Tia manages to grab the stick, a tug-of-war ensues, usually won by the more powerful Lesia
