And yet more rain and another wet dog walk! Getting desperate for something different to photograph, and saw this wet branch on the hillside. The branch had clearly been blown down during Sunday’s stormy day, but intriguingly it was 50 metres from the nearest tree.
Great find and subject! I found two large pieces of corrugated iron blown into the hedge from about 100 feet away - and we had a very localised tornado near here last week!! A couple of barns were de-roofed and a chicken shed was carried bodily from one side of the field to another with all the chickens!
