Over the last couple of months we have occasionally met this group leaving Croft Hill. They seem to be up to half a dozen Afro-Caribbean nuns, dressed in pristine white, and generally we meet them as they are coming down the hill, singing hymns as they descend the footpath back to the road. So intriguing! They recognise the dogs, and so we are almost on “hello” terms – I really must strike up a conversation and solve the mystery.
