Conkers by shepherdman

Conkers

There is going to be a good crop of horse chestnuts this year. Wild fruit seems to be more successful despite this year’s weather compared to domestic varieties. We seem to have very few apples and plums this year, maybe because of the cold wet weather during blossom time. The bees decided to stay at home, rather than get wet while fertilising our fruit blossom.
Ooh don't think I've ever seen them so small! Well observed.
