Dog Rose

Wild rose, or “dog rose” – much more attractive than its cultivated cousin! This one was on the bush that I photographed a couple of days ago. The wet summer seems to suit wild roses, and there has been many blossoms this year.

Beautiful. Driving up our lane I noticed that the dog rose is doing well here too.
