I’m not sure what this grass is called, but the seed heads make excellent darts. With some surreptitious throws, the unwary fellow walker may return home with several embedded in their clothes. Not that I would partake of such mischief.
Learnt at school perhaps? You can also put one inside your cuff and soon you will find it coming out the neck of your sweater! Beautiful shot of this everyday grass.
