Memories

This display is in my Dad’s front porch. I bought the “Welcome” frame as a present for Mum and Dad when I first went to the United States about fifteen years ago. The Union Jack is from this year’s Royal Jubilee celebrations, the crosses are from Palm Sunday services at the local Methodist Church that my Dad attends, and the crimson foliage, is from a flower display given to my Dad on the anniversary of the day when we lost my Mum.
The text accompanying this image is very touching and gives so much meaning to every part of it. Lovely idea to take this shot.
