Somebody didn’t wipe his boots after he emerged from the chimney…. We have two of our granddaughters stopping over Christmas, and my daughter in Law is quite house-proud. Once the girls had got over the surprise of seeing Santa’s boot prints in front of the open fire place, the six year old said, very seriously, “It’s a good job that he didn’t do that in our house..” Priceless.
