We were both at home yesterday, and so my wife joined me on a dog walk down to the village. It took us an hour to walk less than a mile, thanks partly to chats with other dog walkers, and partly because we both had our cameras with us – this avenue of trees borders one of the paths leading up onto Croft Hill. When we got to the village my wife spotted an interesting shot involving a red phone box. I also spotted an interesting sight – smoke curling from the pub chimney. We enjoyed lunch in front of the pub fire, and the dogs enjoyed their usual treat from the landlord – a Bonio from his stock of dog biscuits behind the bar.
