Cutty Sark

I haven’t been to Greenwich since the Cutty Sark was restored following the fire, and I was disappointed to find that the previously completely open river frontage now had chain restaurants on it. It was time for dinner, and I was out-voted – rather than explore the local hostelries, we ended up at a chain restaurant serving spiced up chicken bits, accompanied by cold fizzy Portuguese lager. I was not impressed. Afterwards, as we strolled around the area, we came across London’s last original “Pie and Mash” shop, with the optional accompaniment of draught London Pride ale. It was just 2 minutes from the corporate chicken place, and would have been an infinitely more appropriate venue. I grumbled at length to anyone who would listen.......
:) It's hard sometimes for folks to break away from chains. Pie and mash, that sounds good.
Awesome shot, impressive rigging
