Rescue dog Tia is a dog of many parts. There is certainly some German Shepherd in there – she has the classic Shepherd black “beauty spot” on her cheek. Her long legs are distinctly reminiscent of a Lurcher, and she lies flat on the floor as a collie would. But that tail? Where does her tail come from? It’s a very indicative tail – nearly always up and waving, but down between her legs when it comes to baths and vets. It’s a very useful tail – a flag showing Tia’s location in the long grass.
