Pure escapism by shepherdman

Pure escapism

I do like to see Shepherdmans Wife in action! Before she discovered the delights of 365, mornings were a compulsory rush to get out of the house and onto the roads before the number of commuters joining the road network of Leicester exceeded the capacity of available tarmac. But nowadays, take a gorgeous sunny dewy morning on the patio, a flower bejewelled with water droplets, and a camera, and suddenly there is much less urgency to get to work. 365 certainly helps with the life balance, if you let it. Let the escapism of taking a photograph work its magic, appreciate the subject, and let the rest of life (including commenting on 365!) take second place, just for a few minutes. You will replace the lens cap feeling at least a little invigorated.
I love her expression, and the light shining on that flower. It is so nice to take a little extra time to see the beauty around us..
