While on holiday in Wales I persuaded Shepherdmans Wife to climb Wales, highest mountain, Snowdon, 3560 feet high. Actually what I suggested was a “photographic expedition” since any suggestion of a hike, or even a walk, I would have been met with a refusal. I had in mind the “Miners Track”, a popular route that gently climbs for about 3 miles or so, before becoming steep, and then exceedingly steep before joining another route to the summit. I had no expectation of either Shepherdmans Wife, or German Shepherd Lesia who hasn’t been a puppy for many years, attempting the steep climbs, let alone the summit, and I was pleased when that we got as far as a mountain lake just below the exceedingly steep climb, before Shepherdmans Wife decided that this particular photographic expedition had gone on for quite far enough.
Beautiful scene --shame you did not make it to the top !! but it is a clime -- I did it when a student in Bangor uni --a long, long time ago !! Love the different tomes in the pebble path !
