A dry bottom by shepherdman

A dry bottom

We’ve visited Mousehole in Cornwall a few times now, and we have never the bottom of this boat get wet. It sits above the shore, neatly painted black and white and perched against the black and white paintwork of a harbour side cottage, a sort of landmark for tourists walking around the harbour. It looks seaworthy and ready for a fishing trip at any time, but since the keel sports Dulux rather than barnacles I suspect that it is retired.
A neat B&W shot and find.

Smartly done! I like the way you have continued the line of the keel paint onto the wall.

A b/w shot which is good in its simplicity - like the story, too.
