Millenium Wood by shepherdman

Millenium Wood

This avenue of young trees is part of “Millennium Wood”, still known the locals as the “playing field” since the hub of the recreational area is a large field dotted with mature trees originally hosting the village cricket field. Saplings were planted around the edge of the field as part of the Millennium celebrations in strips wide enough to create tree lined footpaths that link the field to the surrounding network of country footpaths in the area.
So beautiful and peaceful.
