Honey Fungus

This colourful fungus on a tree stump alongside the footpath down to the village cannot be particularly palatable – most of the fungi on and around Croft Hill are spotted by mice and nibbled before photographers get a look-in.

Yes, according to my mushroom app it is inedible. Very striking though and nicely taken.
