This exceedingly large shed, seemingly unused for quite a while, is at the edge of Huncote village allotments. I suspect that was once the “allotment society hut”, used to keep all sorts of garden supplies that were sold to allotment users. Most of the allotments are still in use (one of our neighbours’ rents one) but I suspect that there has been no meeting of the “allotment society” for many years.
