Young goats, in the deep shadows of the large shed where they reside at Leicester’s City Farm, but with sunlight streaming in through the open doorway. We took our grandchildren to the farm, on a cold day with a bitter wind. The goats had the right idea. It wasn’t long before we returned to the cheerful warmth of the Farm café for pie and chips. We felt that we deserved it.
