Abbey Park in Leicester, where snowdrops flower in drifts among the trees bordering the paths, with the occasional isolated crocus providing a splash of colour. Since a single plant is unlikely to have been deliberately planted, I suspect the involvement of a squirrel, who forgot where he left one of his mid-winter snacks.
