The carpets of bluebells have faded in the woods, but isolated blooms can be found in damp shady areas. This one was in a particularly damp and green woodland, where the dense tree canopies shaded out much of the sunlight, but the wonderful variety and shades of green prevented any sense of gloom – just calm and serenity.
