Cherry ripe by shepherdman

Cherry ripe

Despite every effort, we generally lose the battle to eat our cherries before the birds do. The blue tits start the battle early, tucking into the cherry blossom in spring, not even being deterred by dangling CDs, blowing in the breeze, and flashing in the sunlight. We had a few cherries almost ripe on the small patio cherry tree. Then we went away for the weekend, and the birds had a patio-party….
What a delicious color of red! Lovely water droplets!

Ours never ever see the shade pink let alone red! Maybe we should catch the birds - blackbirds - and make them into a pie!

Gorgeous shot - seems you'll have to put nets over the trees - what a pain this is!
