I know, I know – yesterday I said that it was the last birdie shot. But who can resist the baby blue tits who are currently regular customers at our various feeding stations? I spotted this one on our patio one morning, and after a couple of shots through the closed patio door, I sneaked up on the bird via another door, and it allowed me to lie down quite close. These young birds seem fearless, which is not a good thing. We are taking great care top keep the cats inside. I’m not always very good securing the exit as I leave the house, and am often startled by a bellowed “DOOR!!” from @shepherdmanswife. How does she know when she is in another room? The birds may be fearless, but I am not, and I quickly close the offending door behind me.
