A pair of crows. We often see a whole "murder" of them, as a flock is called, either doing circuits around the tall birches at the end of our neighbour's garden, where they roost, or mobbing birds of prey, even driving away large buzzards from the roost. This pair, or at least I assume it's always the same pair, often frequent this dead tree by the field gate at the end of the Lane.
