Today @shepherdman lost his German Shepherd. For many months Lesia's front half has been gradually losing touch with her back half, thanks to a nerve condition. With care and physiotherapy she still enjoyed over 12 years, a good age for a German Shepherd, but we had to make the decision that her quality of life had deteriorated too much, and a home visit by the vet was arranged. Rescue dog Tia is now my sole loyal canine companion, although Lesia will remain my 365 icon.
So sorry to hear this - its always a horrible time when you lose a part of your family - my heart goes out to you and hope she is a peace now over the rainbow bridge x
So sorry to hear this - I know how hard that decision is to make but when the time comes, make it we must. Tia must be missing her too although they have a way of knowing what's going on, probably even before we do.
So sad to loose your wonderful companion! They are your family and it is always heartbreaking to have to say goodbye. Leisa was such a beautiful dog! My heart goes out to you all who will miss her!
@shepherdmanswife @shepherdman I've even shed a tear for you both - such a beautiful dog and having been through your pain several times it never becomes any easier! They give us their heart when they are with us - take care
so very sorry to read this. what a very beautiful girl. know words really do not help, but everyone here who loves their pets with their entire hearts are thinking of you.
I am so very sorry for your loss, my heart hurts for you. We just lost our companion, Micah, five weeks ago and I am just a mess without him. There are no words.
