Found this image whilst browsing through some options for posting at a time of the year when I only seem to be out and about in darkness. An autumn evening on Croft Hill. I had to double check that I didn't post it at the time. At the moment on a nice clear evening there is just a hint of daylight at 5pm, but those dark mornings still seem to go on and on. Every morning I don a headtorch, and clip a collar light onto Tia, before we head out across the fields. Sometimes we see a blob of white light coming towards us and know that we will meet up with our neighbour Tim, and most importantly his dog Jack, Tia's best buddy. Tim and I chat, dazzling each other with our head torches, while the dogs run around us in big circles. We both look forward to the first dog-walking sunrise, sometime in February.
Always good to look back at past photos that sometimes have been passed by. This is lovely with the light through the trees and shadow and sunlight on the grass. Fav.
