They promised us snow, a white winter wonderland. Instead we have a grey landscape under leaden skies and icy sleet falling onto muddy tracks, in places the consistancy of porridge. The worst sort of winter weather. This field hosts a herd of cows in summer. At this time of the years any cows are indoors, bedded on straw, with regular meals of cattle nuts and molasses.
I really like these silhouettes, but the weather sounds pretty nasty! I thought at first it was a b&w image, but I see a faint hint of colour in the grass. Stay warm.
Love the silhouettes and the cold chill this shot gives, the cows know where they are best off!! Our weather is miserable 3c bitter winds, and a couple of inches of slushy snow, horrible.!
