A pleasant evening dog walk with @shepherdmanswife in warm sunshine. Hawthorne and blackthorn are both in bud, young flourescent green leaves in the case of hawthorn, and frothy sprays of blossom on blackthorn bushes. I would have liked to continue along the quarry edge, but @shepherdmanswife preferred to descend the steps to photograph ducks on the wildlife pond. Naturally we decended the steps, looking back up to the ridge, with its extensive countryside views. Oh well, I can't win them all. If any.
