Low cloud turned yesterdays sunrise somewhat fiery as we followed the field track down to the river. Morning dog walks are not quite as sedate as when it was just Tia and I. Now that German Shepherd pup Cody joins us, with full adolescent mischief, I have to concentrate to stop him wandering too far following an unfamiliar scent, as well as rescuing poor Tia from over-boisterous play. It must be said that although Cody is now taller than Tia, Tia remains boss, seeing off Cody when she's had enough.
