Time To Take The Lead by shepherdman

Time To Take The Lead

If my route takes me through the sheep field I step off the field track by the old barn to look around the hedge. From here I can see where the sheep are grazing. If they are flocked together at the far end, all is well. Today they were grazing across the footpath. I walked slowly through them, dogs on short leads, and the sheep parted without panic. The dogs were not tempted to chase fleeing fleeces, less stressful for sheep, dogs, and particularly me,
Your dogs are too well trained to dash after fleeing sheep! Other dogs are positively dangerous if not trained! Nice focus on the sheep! Looks wet.

that's a very obvious marker - unlike some footpaths which are very hard to find.
