Foraging fly by shepherdman

Foraging fly

The temperature today was more like May than February, but insects fooled into springtime foraging found sparse fare. Snowdrops and Celendines are blooming in shade, but around the quarry only gorse is in flower. I failed to capture a bee, barely landing before flying to the next flower, but this fly and a nearby mate, was less active.
lovely details (I found bees, might even have a workable photograph of them)
