A frozen lock on the Grand Union Canal. We had an unexpected canal-side walk when we followed a path expecting to cross and join a disused railway track, but missed it, and came across the canal instead. Despite what Shepherdmanswife thought, we weren't lost. I knew exactly where we were, it just wasn't where I expected us to be!
