We arrived just in time to watch a rescue of a person needing help in the sea. The guy seen dangling in the photo was winched down to the sea where he released himself. He floated down the coast with the tide and was then rescued by his colleague. A line was sent down to him, he hooked himself up and was hauled back up into the helicopter. This was a training exercise by the Royal Navy but was very interesting to watch, and photograph, off course!
A dramatic and colourful shot. Even though it's just an exercise, this would take a courage I don't have. But it's great practice for the times when this is needed in a real-life situation.
