We decided to splash out on a bird feeding station, and bought a Niger seed feeder especially for these finches. It did the trick, they were queuing to get on!
Taken a few days ago as went to work in the dark and came home in the dark today.
Thank you all for visiting my project, making comments and leaving Faves. I'd love to thank you all individually but don't have the time. I do read all of your comments and visit as many of your photos as I have time for.
@padlock I don't know anything about the London meet. When and where and who? It's very unlikely that we could come as we both work full time and we have the dogs to consider, but nice of you to ask. Let me know the details and I'll see what we can do. Thanks
This is a stunning composition and really arresting to look at. Fabulous! Must get all my feeders out soon - we have had a little colony of sparrows who have lived in our eaves since we came to the house 37 years ago but sadly they seem to have disappeared this year. I really want to attract them back so fingers crossed.
I really like the colours and feels of your shot.
