Magical 2

The photo 'Magical' uploaded 1st December has been bugging me since I put it on. I think it looks better cropped like this one. What do you think?

Yes - like this best!! Both fab though!

Oh I totally agree, your eye is drawn into the picture and those fantastic 'rooms' look centre of attraction ! Great edit!
December 8th, 2013
magical! fabulous light
December 8th, 2013
actually I like both - but personally I like the first one slightly better ... 'slightly :-) ... this one definitely draws the eye to the mushrooms with the crop and does it well. but he first one has a 'fantasy' like feel to it .. the kind you associate as children viewing the woods as a source of mystery and magic ... sort of the enchanted woods. not sure if I am making sense .. but anyways my 2 cents :-)

This crop works well, love the sun flare.
December 8th, 2013
I prefer the first one, I think there's a bit more for the viewer, it tells more of a story
December 8th, 2013
This crop works well but I too prefer the first one. I like the feeling of space in the other shot!
December 8th, 2013
I like this one better, it gives more attention to the center subject, the mushrooms.
December 8th, 2013
I like this cropped image. It is more intimate.
December 8th, 2013
It does look magical and I think better cropped like this.
December 8th, 2013
I agree. it is surprising how much difference a small edit can make. Have you lightened the shadows a bit, the fungi and moss are a lot clearer.
December 8th, 2013
What a fabulous shot.........pure magic!
December 8th, 2013
@jonhen no nothing other than a crop!
December 8th, 2013
Magical & mystical -just expect to see the flower fairies emerging from behind the log
December 8th, 2013
As soon as I saw it..I thought MAGIC! Gigantic fav!
December 8th, 2013
Yep I think you are right, got rid ofthe distractions..
December 8th, 2013
This is magical, fav
December 8th, 2013
Very magical! An alluring composition.
December 8th, 2013
Great mushroom shot, the light fits perfectly
December 8th, 2013
I agree, this is best.
December 8th, 2013
Stunning! The second fungi shot I have just commented on! Gotta be a fav =)
December 8th, 2013

December 8th, 2013
Fabulous capture. Love everything about it. FAV and follow.
December 8th, 2013
brilliant! love the light.
December 8th, 2013
Beautiful light and a great capture!
December 8th, 2013
I love the focus on the toadstools in this one -----------i really cannot decide which I like best hahahahahah
December 8th, 2013
I like both but the first one slightly has the edge for me. I think it has more intrigue and feel of a magical world to be invited into. Both very pretty though!
December 8th, 2013
Both lovely bit this one gets my vote. The crop really enhances the mushrooms and the sunburst. Great shot.

Joe
I like both, but this version does seem to bring and hold my attention to the mushrooms quicker and longer.
December 8th, 2013
i think both are lovely in their own way... but i do find this one a bit more impactful... such a beautiful shot!
December 8th, 2013
WOW Fav! I think both are amazing!! :D
December 8th, 2013
Both are good, but I think this has more impact!
December 8th, 2013
I like the cropped version but I would've been even more drastic and got rid of all the white sky - you would still have rays of sun.
December 8th, 2013
Both good, but I actually prefer the first one, for the wider context.
December 8th, 2013
@hillymay yes I did wonder whether to do that or not. Wasn't brave enough!
December 8th, 2013
I like the composition of both of them but I find the sunburst and white sky a little distracting, the light on the mushrooms is delightful.
December 8th, 2013
Definitely prefer this; the litterry stuf to the right in the original detracts.
December 8th, 2013
It is magical indeed. Like we could see a leprechaun in one of those lol
December 8th, 2013
love this great shot of the fungi and love that sun star burst
December 8th, 2013
i like this one best. very cool star. thanks for the follow. following back
December 8th, 2013
Very pretty but I'm going to be no use at all and say I like them both equally!!
December 8th, 2013
Kev
Great photo, but personally I prefer the wider version. Thanks for the follow - following back!
December 8th, 2013
INDEED. fav'd!
December 9th, 2013
Both are lovely but i enjoyed the first shot the best.,mostly because there was more to view in the first one.
December 9th, 2013
I love this one. But the top part blown out is distracting. Maybe cropping off so that you get the bottom part of the sun flare but. To the white sky?
December 9th, 2013
I agree I like this best......fav !
December 9th, 2013
Absolutely fantastic. FAV.
December 9th, 2013
Gorgeous light! It looks like a fairy tale. Very pretty shot.
December 9th, 2013
Beautiful, enchanting shot FAV
December 9th, 2013
Love this! Instant FAV. The colours, the depth and the flare are just beautiful.
December 9th, 2013
It's fairyland...fav!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 9th, 2013
They are both lovely, but I like the other one better. The light shining through the vegetation in the background is so lovely in that one, I think it really adds something without being distracting.
December 9th, 2013
They both work equally well but this just has an edge
December 10th, 2013
What a wonderful image - so sharp - magical for sure!
December 10th, 2013
Love this. The magical quality comes across better in this cropped version.
