another darn fly!
I felt so sorry for the cows that were being bombarded by flies and there was nothing they could do about it. You see horses with mesh eye covers to stop flies from attacking their eyes, but not cows.
The flies had a go at me too. It was very annoying.
I am spending a few days away from home for the next week so may be a bit behind with commenting.
Internet access here is very slow and won't have much time to keep up.
Incredible detail. Love the green of the eye. Had my first go at macro today when I met up with Sean O'Neill, I'm addicted! Not able to go to photo meet tomorrow but hoping to week after. Have a great time in Wales.
@shepherdmanswife no first time today, lovely bloke and gave me so many useful tips. We spoke about organising meet up for you, me, Sean and newbank lass as we all live fairly close.
Great close up shot...and yes, this must be very annoying!! I think the flies lay their eggs in the eyes. Someone told me that is why they put the mesh eye blinds on the horses. Enjoy your trip!
I know what you mean about slow internet, AND flies! We can't put the masks on the horses as they graze around the brush and rip the mesh, which makes it worse when flies get stuck in there...very frustrating. Our Highland cattle at least have very long eyelashes and they use them a lot.
