Do I stay or do I go or do I reduce my time here? I have been so bad at commenting as life just gets in the way, but I am addicted. Thank you to all you wonderful 365 ers. I have learnt so much and improved so much since joining this fabulous group.
Stay!!! please! But yes, it's time consuming. I find the new format much slower going, and my slacking off on commenting coincided with that change....Love this, so deer! Congrats!!!
Oh, please, please stay Chantal!! I am just getting to know you, and so enjoy your photos, your creativity, and your comments, and I don't care if they are not constant or frequent! We would all miss you, and I think you would miss us! Just set new rules for yourself for Year 2! And, congrats on completing a fabulous first year.....to be continued!
Congratulations of on your 365! I found reducing the pressure I put on myself worked quite well. I get less comments, favs, TTs etc than I used to but it's not all about that is it? Give it a go!! It would be a shame if you disappeared althogether.
Firstly Chantal huge congrats on completing your first year - and what a year! Your photography has gone from strength to strength and I always look forward to seeing your pics so it would be great to see you continue. I agree with Jan though about reducing the pressure on yourself as that has worked for me too and I don't have nearly as many followers as you. Maybe just post one pic a day to your main album or perhaps post on every second or third day. It will feel strange at first but it's actually quite liberating! Whatever you decide keep taking pics as you have such a special talent. @jantan
congrats on 365 days! It can be hard sometimes but yes it is addictive. Love your photography and would hate to see you go, so as they say in the song...'stay, just a little bit longer'
Congratulations! The project doesn´t need to be done every day, posting few times a week will work too, I learned to take this so much more relaxed as I finished my first year. I would love to see more of your beautiful and unique work, you have such a great eye and your work is so inspirational!
Congratulations - very well done! You have done wonderful work and your photography is a joy. If it helps at all, posting once a week works for me - gives me that balance of still being part of it but less pressure and no feelings of it being a chore when life is busy. At first it was hard to switch (yes, it is addictive) but actually quite liberating. Whatever you decide, I hope we see lots more of your lovely pics.
I hope that you stay , your photographs are a joy to see . congratulations on your !st year . btw I know what you mean about making comments I wish I had more time too
Wonderful shot. My opinion is you have to retrain yourself to post only when you know you have time to comment in the evening. I only post if I have a clear run otherwise I save the shot for another day. 365 is addictive but sometimes you need to take a step back and question whether you can afford the time and whether (in my case) other things suffer. There is a fine balance and I think I now have the balance right.
Well done know what you mean re time but I miss using the camera if it were not for 365. I still post but don't spend as long commenting etc. enjoy it.
Wonderful picture. Congratulations on making the Trending Page. Well deserved. You have been a wonderful example for me, and I have learned so much from you and have a lot more to learn. I hope you will continue.
I agree to post less, and also give yourself time for a few comments. I have noticed people sometimes ask you a question to learn, but you are so busy posting that you don't have time to respond, which would be nice for us who enjoy posting but also picking up tips here and there. A very pretty deer.
I wondered what you would do for 365 after noticing you were at 364. Congratulations! I'm only about 4 months in and feeling the drag from time to time. I've enjoyed seeing your photos.
Congratulations! I have really enjoyed following you and have gotten inspiration from many of your wonderful shots! It seems that we all struggle but we are all addicted!
Many congratulations on making 365 that's quite an achievement. Your shots are constantly amazing and so inspirational, please stay, I agree it is time consuming but so addictive. Love this shot, so detailed.
Please don't go Chantal. I am still hoping to get up for that photography day in the Peaks. I so love your work and I have learnt so much from admiring them and wanting to emulate you. A huge congrats on the year but like so many have said, have a day shooting every now and then and then upload for one a day. A very deer shot by the way.
Your photos have been a pleasure to look at. Congrats on 365 - it's the most wonderful thing isn't it? Stay or go. It's up to you. (I'm half way through my 5th year.)
CONGRATULATIONS Chantal! What a wonderful first year you have had, you have produced some stunning photos, you obviously have poetry and beauty in your soul. This is such a great community, but it is the commenting and feeling impolite and ungracious if you don't thank people who kindly comment and fav on your photos that can take it's toll I think. I know that my house, other hobbies and time spent with Roy in the evenings has suffered at times! @paulaw@lucypics
This is wonderful, great pov and dof, fav for me. Congrats on getting to the end of your year. I hope you'll decide to stay, even if posting less often, as I would miss your wonderful pictures.
a lovely deer photo :)
