our Ragdoll. My father-in-law hates the photos I put on of Muffin because the catch lights in her eyes are a reflection of the window instead of a circular flash catch light. I much prefer natural light, but he is 87 so I forgive his old fashioned opinion!
You have one very beautiful cat. Those eyes are amazing. This is a stunning shot - I don't think it matters what shape the catch light is but I don't think you'd get such soft light using a flash. This is just spot on.
Attention to detail hey? Well I wouldn't have even considered it had you not mentioned it! Beautiful, gorgeous cat with eyes like sapphire. Just lovely
Beautiful portrait of Muffin, if you have a chance to use natural light, use it. Casper hates it when I use flash and often just closes his eyes photo session over.
It's pretty special though that your father-in-law keeps tabs of your project. :) This is another amazing macro shot of your cat's beautiful blue eyes.
What an exquisite photo! Don't tell FIL that this natural light is nothing short of magnificent! I'd love to have a Ragdoll, though I probably never will, so let me enjoy you beautiful Muffin!
How did I miss a picture of Muffin?! Love those blue eyes, and the catch light in them! @Weezilou Louise, I once had a ragdoll/birman combo that I got from a shelter. Her name was Lambchop, had the most amazing blue eyes and white boots, drank water with her paws, was extremely smart and loving, and I miss her every day. I have no idea how she ended up at the shelter, but was definitely house trained, so don't ever despair of getting one. I am still looking....
This is an incredible shot.and any catchlight, no matter the shape, brings an eye to life....you've done that here, beautifully!
