Countryside Grafitti

WHY? don't you just find this so upsetting that someone thinks it good to spray paint in the country and spoil the views?
Simply... YES! I can disregard this graffiti and enjoy the scenery though!

Yes - always makes me angry when I see this! I am not keen on graffiti even in town - not sure when it became street art? Even more I hate it when I see rubbish just dropped anywhere but especially in the countryside! Grrrrr you have started me off now! Lol!

Super image...looks great on black...neat textures, composition...it's a shame at how disrespectful jerks can be of other people's private property

I've tried to work this behaviour out but can only conclude that some folk's minds operate differently - so unnecessary in my frame of reference.
December 9th, 2015
We're all different, I know, but surely respecting each other's property should be common to us all. Apparently not. Morons!

Wonderful capture. Would love to see this in person.

Seems bizarre to see this out in the countryside. It's the sort of thing that you expect to find only in a city (or at least a built up area!)

Street Art without the street? Makes a great picture though, Shepherd's wife, so we'll excuse everyones rant!

certainly does stand out in the picture. The lean of the yellow pole is interesting, as though a giant spray-paint pencil had been left there. The lines of this are wonderful too with the trees leaning up to the building and the ivy-eaten roofline dropping off to the right. Just a gorgeous picture despite its documentary of misbehavior.

Makes me want to take a scrub brush to it!

A lovely scene, despite the unwelcome and unexpected "decoration" to the brick. I do enjoy the ivy-covered roof, especially. Too bad that folks can't keep their spray-painting hands to themselves.

I hate graffiti. I live in a city that aggressively gets rid of it -- public property gets cleaned up in a day or two, and there is a bylaw that requires private landowners to remove it, as well.
December 9th, 2015
That really infuriates me - as you say WHY, it spoils the countryside.
December 9th, 2015
Somehow carving one's initials in a tree trunk, though in theory graffiti, was so innocent compared to this. It does spoil the scenery
December 9th, 2015
Yes it's very sad that if there is a bare wall someone decides to fill the space
December 9th, 2015
Very naughty, they should find proper places to practice their art
December 9th, 2015
Yes it is so wrong to spray paint on property like this, it ruins it for everyone else. But, it it could have been so much worse.
December 9th, 2015
Why indeed? Don't think I'll ever understand why people do this, especially in our lovely countryside. Nice composition though!
December 9th, 2015
I do find it upsetting. Whether country side or city what gives anyone the right to right on some one else's property.
December 9th, 2015
I HATE BLOODY GRAFITTI IN ALL ITS FORMS
December 9th, 2015
Somehow, it fits the city oftentimes -- under railroads, along gritty roads. BUT to see this in the country looks like such defiling of nature. So disrespectful!
December 9th, 2015
It is very disturbing to find disrespect of others displayed by ruining natural views/objects with graffiti. I agree, WHY?
December 10th, 2015
yes, I totally agree
December 10th, 2015
Great find!
December 10th, 2015
I agree. This is a lovely shot anyway.
December 10th, 2015
Yes, totally agree.
December 10th, 2015
Well this is an interesting shot! Im actually super surprised to see graffiti here. Isn't it usual for the art to deface a corporate sort of space?
December 10th, 2015
Incredible picture. Congratulations on making the Trending Page. Well deserved.

They'd probably respond with "SO"
December 11th, 2015
It does make you wonder who SO is, and why they have such a great need to mark their environment in such a way! Beautiful landscape, otherwise, but the tag does draw your eye into the building..
December 11th, 2015
I agree with you 150%, Chantal. There are certain urban areas in which I don't mind graffiti, but it should never spoil the countryside!
