Went to Mam Tor on @shepherdman 's birthday for a 7 mile walk along this ridge. It was thick fog when we started but lifted enough to see where we'd been by the time we came back along it. As Neil said, it was a good job that it was foggy because if I had seen how far and how high we were walking I might have refused to do it! We went as far as the highest peak you can see in this pic, so it was up and down and up and down and up again, then the same all the way back. Good for calorie burning I guess!
Great exercise, and such interesting views after the fog lifted! I have this on my bucket list to do - the last time we were in the Peak District we couldn't find the car park!
