Giant Dandelion?

I spotted just this one giant dandelion in a forest by the coast on Anglesey, North Wales today.
I have never seen one of these and would be interested to know what plant it was. It was at least twice the size of our normal dandelions and had the lovely golden sheen that you can see in the photograph.

Did it have the narrow, jagged edge leaves that dandelions have? It is a prettier color than common dandelions so perhaps it is just a variation.
