So, while I was trying to NOT run the snow geese off before sunset yesterday, I figured I should get OUT of the vicinity to lower the risk. And I found this guy. He let me get SO CLOSE it was unreal! It wasn't until I was able to see these on the big screen at home that I could tell what he was eating. The fish were so unbelievably small that I couldn't see them. But they were visible in the enlarged pics, and in this one you can clearly see him tossing it in his beak. Well, clearly if you enlarge it enough!

Absolutely fabulous!! I finally figured out how to enlarge this and against the black it is spectacular. I love the tiny fish in his mouth. What marvelous detail and lighting. Fav
