Bubble by shesnapped

Bubble

My get pushed challenge this week is high key photography, and my thought was to try some frozen bubbles in all this snow we have right now, especially since this may be my only chance with snow this year as we don't usually get much. But the bubbles are not necessarily cooperating! Yesterday I went out by myself, and it just doesn't work too well to blow a bubble and then try to chase it with your camera. So today, dh blew while I photographed, and the wind still kept blowing the bubbles away before I could catch a pic. So I decided to get some coming off the end of the kazoo-bubble-thingy and was actually quite surprised by this one. Not only did it have some fabulous color (vibrancy was turned up a little in post processing, but not by much), but you can see reflections in the bubble of me, dh, houses, clouds and trees. Pretty cool! No high key shot today, tho...
Lovely colourful capture.

Brilliant colors and reflections! What fun. I remember being quite surprised by the reflections of my house and yard in the bubbles I was photographing with a telephoto while my husband blew them out in the road. It was wild to see everything so clear in that thin layer of soap!
