Still smiling!!! by shesnapped

Still smiling!!!

Met these three boys on the beach last night, and we just took to each other! They just wanted to talk, and we talked about everything, and we talked about nothing. It was SO much fun! They were fascinated with the camera, and MORE than willing to let me photograph them. (Yes, with parent's permission - I actually got brave enough to ASK!) Then had a really good time talking to their parents who are sure that somewhere in my bloodline I may have a little dark-skinned roots! Got a good chuckle out of that one! It was the kind of evening that even today, when looking back, brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart!

The sheer joy this little guy got from simply running away and running back is just contagious! LOVE this shot! This is, by far, my favorite of all of them!

Btw - is this considered street photography???
I love his smile!!!!

I love the exuberance of this :). Not sure I would consider this to be "street", but there is a project known as "100 strangers" which is about practicing portraiture thru meeting strangers and taking their picture - generally in an informal way in the environment you found them...

@northy I would agree with you there - it didn't feel like street, but definitely strangers who are no longer strangers!
