On Eagle's Wings by shesnapped

On Eagle's Wings

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

On Eagle's Wings

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in His shadow for life,
Say to the Lord, "My Refuge,
My Rock in Whom I trust."

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.

The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
And famine will bring you no fear;
Under His Wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.

You need not fear the terror of the night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day,
Though thousands fall about you,
Near you it shall not come.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.

For to His angels He's given a command,
To guard you in all of your ways,
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.

My get pushed challenge this week from Lynda was to change perspective and take a photo from a dog's point of view. Every time I head to Blackwater, I see the eagles from afar, and the shots I get are along the horizon. And they're never clear. Yesterday I saw this guy high up in a tree, but as I backed my car up to get just a little closer, he took off and started flying around in circles overhead. Round and round, plenty of time to relax, try to get calm and slow the adrenaline, relax that left shoulder, wait for his eye to be in the right direction... No, it's not tack sharp, but this is the BEST shot I've ever gotten! And this is exactly how he would look to my dog who would also have been standing there with his mouth agape if he had been with me! :-)
@lynbonn The dog's view!
