This guy was also waiting on me in Chincoteague on Sunday. A little boy had run up to take a photo of the same backlit egret that I posted on July 10, and he and his grandma were trying to find his photo album on his phone so they could see his picture. Why I thought I could help them is beyond me, but I made a nice little friend, so the effort was not completely in vain.
While I was standing there talking to them, this guy flew by. I cannot believe I reacted quickly AND got his eye so sharp! I'm not necessarily happy with the processing, maybe because it turns out to be nothing more spectacular than a sharp eye, but when I consider HOW I got the shot, it turns out to be a shot that requires posting.
