WHOA!!! Guess who didn't get a prime lens for Christmas!!!!
Seems like for the last several years my Christmas gift has arrived early in order to take advantage of the sales, and dh is always kind enough to let me have it when it comes in rather than making me suffer till Christmas Day!!!
AND LOOK WHAT HE DID FOR ME THIS YEAR!!!!
After borrowing my girlfriend's lens this summer (she has the original version of this lens), it was all I could do to return to my old lens. The quality just wasn't there, and the shots were so disappointing. Hubby said I could get this lens, but it was going to take quite a while since my income has dropped so significantly this fall. But we could do a smaller lens, and that's what led me to my search on the 50mm prime.
Then he called me at work yesterday and asked "Which lens would you prefer?" Well, DUH!!!!!
