Pelican cruise again this year!!! LOVED IT!!! It was a bit chilly and windy - up to 20 mph winds - but we all bundled up and made the best of it. There were a LOT of missed shots because the boat was rocking so much, but there were also some moments where you could actually get the shot. This was one of those moments! The pelicans cooperated this year and came out to meet us, along with lots of others, like the seagulls, and lots more, but I’m in it for the pelicans.
I got a few more shots, and I’ll get them processed as I get the time. Seems like these days I either have time for shooting, or processing, but not both. I actually have a backlog of some really good shots over the past month but just haven’t made the time to process yet...
For the record, last year I took Dramamine for the trip, and this year I tried Bonine hoping that it wouldn’t make me as sleepy. I didn’t get seasick either year, but both trips have required a long nap, an overnight sleep, and still left me feeling groggy the next day. Small price to pay tho.
